How to install Yuno on your phone's home screen
Yuno is a Progressive Web App (PWA): you don't need the App Store or the Play Store to install it. In a few seconds, you can add Yuno to your phone's home screen and use it exactly like a native app — dedicated icon, full screen, instant launch.
On iPhone or iPad (Safari)
Installing via Safari is the official method on iOS — it does not work from Chrome or another browser on iPhone.
- 1
Open app.yuno.fit in Safari (the Safari app specifically, not another browser).
- 2
Tap the Share icon at the bottom of the screen — the square with an arrow pointing up.
- 3
Scroll through the menu that opens and tap "Add to Home Screen".
- 4
Check or edit the name shown under the icon, then tap "Add" in the top right corner.
- 5
The Yuno icon appears on your home screen: tap it to launch the app full screen, with no address bar.
On Android (Chrome)
Chrome offers installation directly from its menu, in one or two taps depending on your Android version.
- 1
Open app.yuno.fit in Chrome on your Android phone.
- 2
Tap the ⋮ menu (three vertical dots) in the top right corner of the screen.
- 3
Select "Install app" (or "Add to Home screen" depending on your Chrome version).
- 4
Confirm by tapping "Install" in the dialog that appears.
- 5
Yuno is added to your home screen and app drawer, with its own icon, just like any installed app.
Why install Yuno instead of using the browser?
Once installed, Yuno launches instantly from your home screen, with no need to retype the address or hunt for an open tab. The app displays full screen, with no address bar or browser buttons, for an experience close to a native app — while staying automatically up to date, with no manual updates to install.
